General
When is the best time to visit the estate?
Whether you visit during the vibrant spring maple season, a summer weekend on our terraces, or the fall harvest months, each visit offers a unique experience at the estate.
The vineyard is open from May 1st to June 21st, Friday to Sunday. Starting June 24th, we extend our hours to Wednesday through Sunday and on public holidays, until October 25th. Please check our website or Google page before visiting for the most up-to-date hours, as we may close for private events.
Sugar Shack Season runs from February to the end of April. During this time, you can taste maple products and enjoy our special Sugar Shack menu.
What products do you produce on site?
We are a winery and distillery, producing a variety of wines and spirits. We also create maple products and maintain a farm and gardens, which provide fresh ingredients for our restaurant. Every flavor you experience here is authentically from our land.
Can we bring outside food and beverages for a picnic?
Outside food and beverages aren’t allowed, but no need to worry! Our boutique offers a wide selection of 100% local products, from cheese and charcuterie to honey and more. And don’t forget our Cocktail Bar, serving fresh alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks.
Do you offer vegetarian or vegan products?
Of course! Our boutique offers a variety of options to please every palate, and it’s all about making sure everyone’s happy—whether you’re vegetarian, vegan, or have dietary restrictions.
Is there a restaurant on site?
Yes! There’s a brand new restaurant on site that’s already making waves. Chef Ronan Uliac’s innovative concept, inspired by Quebec’s terroir and the rhythm of the seasons, is definitely worth a visit. If you’re curious to know more, scroll down to the “Restaurant” section, it’s got all the details you need!
Do I need to make a reservation for experiences like the guided tour or tasting?
For the guided tour, we recommend making a reservation since there’s a maximum capacity per tour. This guarantees your spot and helps avoid any disappointment.
For our exclusive picnic experience, we also recommend reserving in advance, as picnic kits are limited.
For tastings, there’s no need to worry about capacity limits, but reserving in advance will help you skip the line and get straight to the good stuff.
And of course, if you’re feeling spontaneous, walk-ins are always welcome!
What happens if it rains? Do we still get to enjoy our experience at your vineyard?
Good news! We have the perfect indoor space, our Cocktail Bar, where you can enjoy tastings, drinks, snacks, and special moments with your loved ones, no matter the weather. Who needs the sun when you’re surrounded by good company and great wines?
I have a guided tour scheduled today, but the forecast predicts rain. Will the tour still happen?
Rain or shine, our guided tours go on as scheduled! We also have umbrellas available in case you don’t have one. If there’s thunder or severe weather, we’ll simply reschedule your tour to keep everyone safe or find an alternative to ensure you get the most out of your visit.
Are dogs allowed on the property?
Yes, we absolutely love dogs and allow them on the grounds when on a leash. Access to the inside of the buildings is not permitted for dogs. If you plan to join a guided tour or have lunch or dinner at the restaurant, we recommend leaving your furry friend at home.
Is it possible to do a photoshoot on your property?
Whether it’s for an engagement shoot, maternity, family photos, or any special moment you want to capture, we’d be delighted to host you. Reach out to us at info@levignobleduruisseau.com to learn more about the packages we offer!
Larger productions, commercial shoots, and any other unique projects are also more than welcome. We love bringing creative ideas to life and being part of your vision!
Can I bring my children to the winery?
Children are more than welcome! Please note that we are an active vineyard and it is recommended that parents keep a close eye on their children at all times. We do not offer activities catered to children, however they are most welcome to participate in our available experiences and on our tours. Anyone under the legal drinking age cannot drink, even with a parent’s consent.
Are your facilities handicapped accessible?
Yes! Our restrooms are wheelchair accessible, and there’s an elevator to reach the restaurant.
That said, our guided tour does involve some walking, including uphill and downhill. If mobility is a concern, we recommend exploring some of our other experiences—they might be a better fit and just as enjoyable!
Can I park my RV and spend the night on your property?
We’d love to be able to accommodate you, but due to our permits, it’s not something we’re able to offer at this time.

What are the differences between the Origine, Prestige, and Signature wines? Why are the Signature wines more expensive?
Origine
These wines are aged primarily in stainless steel tanks, with some spending a short time in oak barrels. They are fresh, light, and fruit-forward, making them perfect for enjoying as an aperitif or on a warm summer day.
Signature
After aging in stainless steel tanks, these wines spend 12 months in French oak barrels. The oak aging adds complexity and richness, bringing out rounder textures, subtle woody notes, and a hint of buttery character. This extra aging is what makes the Signature collection more premium.
Prestige
These wines are aged for 18 months in oak barrels. As they mature, the fresh fruit flavors become more subtle, giving way to richer, more developed notes with hints of butter and honey. The red wines are full-bodied, bold, and well-structured with pronounced tannins.
Do your wines contain sulfites?
Yes. Not to get all science class on you but sulfites are a natural by product of the fermentation process. Otherwise known as sulfur dioxide, it is a compound that is naturally produced in winemaking and is found in virtually every wine. Our winemaker may add very small amounts of additional sulfites to the wine to further protect the wine from unwanted bacteria and yeast growth. It is also an antioxidant, which keeps the wine so fresh and so clean, clean. Sulfites slow the oxidation process, helping preserve the wine’s flavour or as it ages. All wines made from fruit (including grapes) naturally contain sulfites.
Do you ship wine?
You bet! Our wines love a little road trip as much as you do, straight from our cellar to your doorstep. Don’t waste any more time, visit our boutique page here!
Is it possible to volunteer for harvest?
Yes, every season we choose volunteers from our ever-growing list to help out with harvest which takes place between late September and mid October. Come join the party! Email us your interest at info@levignobleduruisseau.com and we will keep you posted if you are selected. Make sure to follow us on social media or subscribe to our newsletter so you never miss out on our exclusive experiences!
Restaurant
What kind of dining experience does Le Ruisseau offer?
Le Ruisseau offers an immersive dining experience where the Eastern Townships terroir meets refined seasonal cuisine. Every visit celebrates wine, estate-grown ingredients, and the art of hospitality in an exceptional natural setting.
Do you offer a tasting menu?
Yes! Multi-course tasting menus are offered throughout the year based on the seasons and special culinary events. Each menu showcases local ingredients, estate products, and the Chef’s creative vision.
Do your menus change throughout the year?
Absolutely. Our menus evolve with the seasons, local harvests, and the Chef’s inspiration to ensure every visit offers something new to discover.
Who is the Chef behind the restaurant?
Le Ruisseau offers two complementary dining experiences imagined by Chef Ronan Ulliac: a welcoming bistronomic table and an immersive fine dining experience, both inspired by Québec’s terroir and the products of the estate.
What is included in the 6-course and 9-course tasting menus?
Our tasting menus are presented as a surprise culinary journey crafted by the Chef. To preserve the intended flow and harmony of the experience, no à la carte selections are available and all guests at the table share the same menu.
The menus highlight seasonal vegetables, fish, seafood, and carefully selected cuts of meat based on availability and the season. We recommend allowing approximately three hours to fully enjoy the tasting experience.
Are the estate wines served in the restaurant?
Of course! Our wines play a central role in the dining experience and are thoughtfully paired throughout the menu by our team.
Do you offer wine pairings?
Yes! Wine pairings are available to complement each course and showcase the unique character of the grape varieties grown on the estate, including Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Riesling, and Gewürztraminer.
What else can we do during our visit to Le Ruisseau?
The estate offers a variety of experiences, including wine tastings, guided tours, seasonal activities, and opportunities to explore the winery and grounds, making it easy to enjoy a full day at Le Ruisseau before or after your meal. Click here to discover all our experiences.
Is a reservation recommended?
Reservations are strongly recommended, particularly during the high season. Walk-ins are always welcome, subject to availability. By intentionally limiting the number of guests we welcome each service, we’re able to provide a more attentive, intimate, and personalized dining experience.
How do I book the dining experience?
Reservations can be made directly through our restaurant page here. We recommend booking in advance to ensure availability and enjoy the full experience.
Can you accommodate allergies or dietary restrictions?
Yes. We do our best to accommodate allergies and dietary restrictions when they are communicated at least 48 hours prior to the reservation.
As our tasting menus follow a fixed culinary experience, certain severe or multiple allergies may limit our ability to adapt the menu. In some cases, we may unfortunately be unable to accommodate particularly complex restrictions. We sincerely appreciate your understanding.
Should you have any questions or concerns regarding allergies or dietary restrictions, we encourage you to contact our team at restaurant@levignobleduruisseau.ca before booking your experience.
Do you offer vegetarian options?
Yes. Whenever possible, we are happy to offer vegetarian alternatives based on the seasonal menu and the availability of local ingredients.
